









Dafna Michaelson Jenet is a seasoned public leader, nonprofit executive, author, and advocate renowned for her commitment to mental health access, youth wellbeing, and social change. Most recently, she served as President Pro Tempore of the Colorado Senate and represented Senate District 21 until February 2026, following nearly a decade of legislative service in both the Colorado Senate and House of Representatives.

An award-winning author, Michaelson Jenet published It Takes a Little Crazy to Make a Difference—a chronicle of her yearlong journey through all 50 states to highlight grassroots innovators—which received the 2015 International Book Award in Social Change. She later authored Peanut’s Legacy, a deeply personal exploration of pregnancy loss.
